How can I transfer my MusicWrite from my old desktop to my new laptop? The PC has Vista. Laptop has Windows 10.

You will need a USB flash drive to achieve this or use LAN, if the computer are on the same network.


For the USB drive part, copy the entire installation directory to the USB drive, then plug the drive on the other PC and copy the contents in the exact same location.


Secondly, on the Vista PC, go to Start > Run > regedit. Expand the Local_Machine > Software and identify the developer's. Right click the folder, select Export and save the reg file on USB as well. Transfer it to the other PC, merge it into Windows and then you can start the application.
